Took the Actros 6x2 StreamSpace for a couple of trips. First off, the bunk mattress comfort is decent, but the hard edge makes resting less enjoyable. I appreciate how MB is trying to enhance fuel efficiency; however, navigating through its multiple economy modes is a bit limiting at times. Storage options in the cab are impressive, with plenty of accessible compartments. While this truck offers a lot, refining some design aspects would elevate its utility further for frequent drivers like myself.

This is not a car, but a piece of you-know-what. I've been dreaming of getting rid of it for a long time. It's as rigid as a Kamaz, and the ride, whether in economy or regular mode, is irritating. The car is overall noisy and uncomfortable, with a weak engine barely pulling 21 tons, and it's even worse on inclines, not to mention the stupid gearbox. All I see are downsides, especially considering the prices for servicing. Engine problems are frequent because of coolant leaks. It's a headache for them, some kind of fault between the cooling system and the crankcase, and they are very difficult in repairs.

I've driven the Mercedes-Benz Actros for a few months now. I find the comfort level inside the cabin impressive; spending long hours at the wheel isn't as exhausting compared to other trucks. However, I've noticed the electronics can sometimes act up-I had an instance where the onboard diagnostics system provided false readings. Maintenance is the key here-if you keep up with the servicing, this truck rewards you with reliable performance.

I've driven the Mercedes-Benz Actros 1844 for a while. The semi-automatic gearbox can feel a bit unusual as you have to use the clutch during gear shifts. However, the cabin space is decent, and standing upright is possible near the roof vent. There are several convenient storage compartments, which come in handy on longer trips. Yet, the lack of USB functionality in the stereo feels outdated. Overall, it's an older model but has charm in its functionality.

Recently had the chance to operate a 2010 Mercedes-Benz Actros 1844. With over 800,000 kilometers logged, it’s still holding up well considering its age. However, the panel lights showed constant warnings, which I was told were typical and not significant. The adjustable seating arrangement adds to the comfort during breaks, but an improvement in mattress quality would be welcome. The operation is straightforward once you adapt to the transmission system.

Tested the Actros on mixed roads. I noticed the Powershift gearbox delivers incredibly seamless transitions between gears. However, the eco-mode speed limit took some time getting used to. The braking system, particularly the engine braking stages, is impressive, requiring minimal use of service brakes. Overall, it's a capable machine but could use a tweak for higher-performance situations.

I've driven the Mercedes-Benz Actros for a few months now, focusing on its overall comfort and safety features. The cabin's spacious design makes long drives less taxing, and the inclusion of adaptive cruise control rivals other vehicles in its class. However, I found the infotainment system somewhat less intuitive initially. Overall, the performance is commendable.

Put a couple of months behind the wheel of a 2021 Actros, ClassicSpace cab. Not the fanciest one, but it gets the job done. Feels tight and well-built, never had any weird knocks or rattles even on bad roads. Maintenance intervals are decent, so you’re not stuck in the shop every month and parts are easy to grab, just kinda pricey if you go OEM. Fuel usage is reasonable - around the 30 liters per hundred for my runs hauling medium loads. The lane keeping and other safety stuff is nice and all, though some of these buzzers get on my nerves. Convenient enough, but not mind-blowing. For what it costs second-hand, I can see why a lot of fleets pick them up.

So I've spent time driving older and newer Actros and honestly, it's not all perfect. The cab on the latest ones is actually pretty comfortable, almost feels like I'm in a hotel bed sometimes when I crawl in after a long haul. I do miss the old-school physical mirrors; the camera system is cool looking, but it's one more thing that can go wrong. The dash controls do feel a lot like they pulled them straight from their passenger cars, which is both good and kind of pointless - like, who cares what it looks like, I just want it to work, you know? My main gripe though is the build - feels solid in some places, like the door just slams with that classic Mercedes thunk, but then you look at all this fancy tech and can't help thinking, is this gonna survive five years packed with electronics? It's comfy for sure but sometimes all the gadgets just feel like stuff that'll cost me later.
