Driving the Renault Premium 460, I found the Optidriver+ gearbox particularly intuitive, handling shifts smoothly even during prolonged city commutes. The braking system delivers consistent performance with advanced support features like ABS. Although the cabin design is efficient, incorporating more modern features could be considered.

Chose the Renault Premium 430 for myself. The purchase of the vehicle justified the investment - comfortable for the driver, behaves predictably on the road. Just make sure to keep an eye on the on-board computer and do not ignore error notifications.

I drive a Renault Premium 270 and I am not completely satisfied with the assembly quality - I notice vibration at idle. When I step on the gas - there are no problems, and it drives normally as well.

I drove the Renault Premium for a couple of years while working in logistics. It's a budget-friendly truck for sure, but it gets the job done. The engine's performance was steady and reliable, though it wasn't the most powerful option out there. The handling felt competent, especially for its weight class, though I did find myself adjusting to its gearshift patterns. Comfort could be better, though as a workhorse vehicle, it succeeded. Maintenance was straightforward and spare parts were usually easy to source.

Had a run of a few weeks in one of the single-bunk Premiums, Alliance trim, standard roof. Got to say, for its age, not bad at all. Steering wheel with radio and cruise is a nice touch, though the buttons are tiny for big mitts like mine. Visibility's all right, and lockers above the windscreen come in clutch for stashing work stuff. The Optidriver+ gearbox was smoother than I expected, barely felt the shifts. I still like to take over with the manual stalk sometimes when the roads get weird, but honestly the auto mode does the job most days. ABS and hill-start work just fine. I do sometimes wish for a better fridge setup since I'm in and out, but eh, it's workable. Pricewise, you can pick these up for decent money now, which is a bonus.

Working extensively with the Renault Kerax, it's clear that this model excels in adaptability. With its Euro-5 compliant engine lineup, it's environmentally advanced. For off-road tasks, the clearance of 385 mm is useful. However, the cabin entry requires effort due to height, though it's part of the design for ruggedness.

Did a contract on one of these Premiums, 6x2, late model E5. Payload on these is proper, barely tips the scales loaded up which is good for what I haul. Engine pulls steady, plenty of torque, but it gets a bit loud pushing uphill. Braking system's solid. Never had any fade, even hammering it down some long hills. Air at the back makes the ride better than some older rigs, though you still feel lumps and bumps on rough sites. Never had a real breakdown but little things like the sun visor started rattling and some interior bits feel kinda cheap. Running costs are average, no huge shocks there. Overall, a sturdy truck but not the most flash inside unless you get the fancy trim.

Handling the Renault Kerax reveals its robustness, designed to endure rugged environments such as quarries. Features like the reinforced frame and excellent load distribution make it practical. A noted minor inconvenience was accessing the fuel cap lock during colder climates, although it ensures fuel security.

Years back, I had the opportunity to operate a Renault Premium during a logistical project. Its fuel efficiency is a standout feature; it saved our fleet considerable expenses. The engine power was adequate for regular demands, although it strained slightly on mountainous inclines. The introduction of advanced automated transmissions was appreciated as it reduced fatigue on long hauls, but there was room for smoother transitions. It remains a solid, dependable truck for medium-duty purposes.
